iSeeCars.com Has Some Really Cool Deals

Posted on: October 10th, 2012

SF5THGEN has spotted a new website that may peek your interest. We had a chance to look around there site and think this would be a good source for camaro owners & Club Members to use and take a look at. See what you think you might find some killer deals on iseecars.com. We have listed the company’s Bio Below

Bio:

iSeeCars.com is a car search engine focused on helping you find cars listed for sale across the Web and providing you with useful information and analysis to help you make better decisions.

iSeeCars.com came about as a result of our personal frustrations with the used car search process online. We were frustrated with the time-consuming and painstaking effort of having to browse through a number of individual car classifieds websites to make sure we didn’t miss out on any listings that could end up being the car deal we were looking for. Furthermore, we noticed the lack of guidance and tools to help make better decisions about which listings to check out first amidst the sea of listings.

Being the entrepreneurs and programmers that we were, we set out to build iSeeCars.com with the goal of simplifying the car search process on the Web and give users the right information and tools to search faster and smarter. iSeeCars.com allows you to search for cars for sale listed at a number of websites across the Web such as newspaper sites, car classifieds sites, dealer and auction sites. It gives you tools such as iSeeCars.com Analysis which provides you with quick snapshot of the key attributes of the car based on our analysis of the listing. To save you time, we also came up with the idea of the ranking the listings to help you decide which ones to check out first based on an algorithm based primarily on market price comparison and analysis of the listing to determine what it says about the car’s condition, history, mileage, warranty, etc (we called this the “See-First” ranking).

This is the first release which we’re calling the preview version. Take it for a test drive. We would love any feedback and comment you may have that would make the search engine even better. We will continually update the site with new functionalities and improve it to make the site as useful and as helpful as possible.

5th Gen Z28 Coming?

Posted on: October 2nd, 2012

Hello SF5THGEN members & fans , Yet again another great week of Camaro 5th Gen Z28 rumors. Team camaro has to know by now that not building a Z28 in the 5th Gen body will totally let enthusiasts down. We can’t let ford win the horsepower war and have the highest output engine in the ponycar battle. GM Authority this week released more info that might be a taste of a possible 5th Gen Z28. This has been blowing up the forums all over and creating the chat that yet again confirms it. BRING BACK THE Z28!

Chevy Camaro To Receive Supercharged “LT4? V8 Engine By 2015, Will Be More Powerful Than ZL1

Within the same Corvette Forum thread that posted leaked CAD engine bay renderings of the Corvette C7 and other images, there was a blurb from the same user that uploaded the renderings regarding theChevrolet Camaro. If it is to be believed, the Camaro will be receiving a supercharged version of the fifth-generation small-block V8 engine — rumored to be called “LT4?.

According the the user, who is highly reputable within the forum’s community, the engine will be an “upgrade of Camaro ZL1 with more hp.” Sounds pretty mighty, considering the  ZL1 currently punches out 580 horsepower via a 6.2L supercharged LSA engine. But will the ZL1 name stick? Or is this paving the way for the likes of a Z28? As we like to say here on GMA, only time will tell.
